Author Guidelines
Journal Scope
Articles accepted and published in Jurnal TEKNIMEDIA are those falling within the scope of Informatics and Computer Engineering, such as Computer Systems/Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Informatics/Computer Science, or other related fields within these disciplines.
Manuscript Type
The manuscripts must be the output of original research conducted comprehensively and providing a scientific contribution. Articles should include discussion and analysis or comparison with previous studies to clearly present the scientific contribution of the work. The manuscript should be between 6 and 12 pages in length.
Writing Language
Papers are written in Indonesian, adhering to the standard rules of the Indonesian language in accordance with the General Guidelines for Indonesian Spelling (PUEBI) and scientific writing conventions. Any words in a foreign language should be written in italics.
Writing Conventions and House Style

Paper Size: A4.

Margins: 2 cm (top, right, bottom, left).

Font & Line Spacing: Times New Roman with single (1.0) line spacing.

Title: Should be as concise as possible and accurately describe the content. Use 16pt font size and bold type.

Authors: Names are written without academic titles. Include information regarding department/faculty/study program, institution/affiliation, city, country, and email address. If there is more than one author, mark the end of each name with a numerical superscript. Provide corresponding details for each author starting with the matching numerical superscript. Use 10pt font size, with author names in bold.

Abstract: Written in both Indonesian and English. The abstract should cover the background, methods, and conclusions, spanning 100–200 words in a single paragraph. Use 10pt font size, italics, and a first-line indentation of 1.27 cm.

Keywords: Provide a maximum of five (5) keywords.

Section Headings: Use numbering (1, 2, 3, ...), 10pt font size, and bold type. The recommended structure is as follows: Introduction, Literature Review/Related Works (optional), Research Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusion.

Sub-section Headings: Use numbering (e.g., 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, ...) corresponding to the section number, separated by a period. Use 10pt font size and bold type.

Body Text: Use 10pt font size for sections and sub-sections. Each paragraph must have a first-line indentation of 1.27 cm.

Tables: Use cell margins of 0 cm (top-bottom) and 0.19 cm (left-right) with 8pt font size. Tables should only use horizontal borders. The table title is placed above the table with numbering (1, 2, 3, ...), center-aligned, with a 6pt "space after" setting and 10pt font size.

Figures: Sizes should be adjusted so that any text within the figure is clearly legible. The figure title is placed below the figure with numbering (1, 2, 3, ...), center-aligned, with a 6pt "space before" setting and 10pt font size.

Equations: Should be numbered (1, 2, 3, ...) placed within parentheses on the right side of the equation (inline) and right-aligned.

Supporting Instruments (Figures, Tables, Equations): Must be referenced within the text. For example: "Figure 1 shows..." or "...as seen in Table 1."

References and Citations: Book references must be from the last 10 years, while Journal/Proceeding references must be from the last 5 years. Every author is required to cite at least one (1) article previously published by TEKNIMEDIA. Authors are mandatory required to use Mendeley as their reference manager.
